ENVARTO would like to extend their gratitude to all who participated in this year’s ENVARTO Pork Carcass Competition, organised in collaboration with the South African Meat Industry Company (SAMIC) and sponsored by the South African Pork Producers’ Organisation (SAPPO).
The level of participation and enthusiasm was remarkable and has made this year’s competition one for the record books.
With over 60 producers involved across more than 20 abattoirs, we saw a significant increase in participation, with more than 800 carcasses entered. This number is more than double that of previous years, highlighting producers’ growing interest and dedication in the industry. We are excited to build on this success and strive to include even more abattoirs and motivate more producers to enter next year’s competition.
Finalists from each abattoir can be seen on ENVARTO’s Facebook page. We encourage you to celebrate the achievements of your fellow participants and share your thoughts and experiences on our social media page.
We understand the importance of feedback in your continuous improvement as a producer. Therefore, we will provide individual feedback to all participants of the 2023 ENVARTO Pork Carcass Competition by Friday, 21 July 2023. Your feedback will help you gain insights into your performance and identify areas for further enhancement.
