Leago Theko (left) and Nokuthula Mokwena joined the SAPPO team in March 2019 as interns in the Business Development Division. Leago grew up in Buschbuck Ridge in Mpumalanga.
After obtaining a degree in animal production at the University of the Free State, she gained practical experience last year at Molare. She was involved in all aspects of pig farming at the farm, specifically the farrowing house. What impressed her about SAPPO since she joined is “the friendly people and the great welcoming I received.”
In her spare time she enjoys watching movies.
Nokuthula’s roots are in Ekangala close to Bronkhorstspruit and she obtained a BCom in financial sciences at the University of Pretoria. A BCom (hons) in taxation followed. She joined SAPPO’s business development team as an accountant intern.
She helps new farmers with financial planning and with issues such as drawing up financial statements.
