Spring into action with SA Pork’s September marketing campaign

As spring starts to make its presence felt, despite the occasional chilly burst of cold weather and even snow, the team at SA Pork has seized the opportunity to embrace the season. With South Africans dusting off their braais to celebrate Heritage Day, we’ve been working to remind everyone that fresh pork cuts should be a staple at every braai. Pork offers incredible value for money, with various cuts perfect for grilling over an open fire, resulting in mouthwatering meals.

Throughout September, we focused on promoting fresh pork and highlighting the versatility of different cuts. Our campaign shared helpful tips, recipes, and mouthwatering treats across multiple digital platforms, including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, all designed to drive traffic back to our SA Pork website.

To add to the Heritage Month celebrations, we reintroduced our popular SAPPO Selekt series, Season 1. This video series celebrates our farming heritage by profiling a selection of South African pork producers. These snapshots delve into the lives of farmers who are more than just producers – they are custodians of the land, passionate about caring for their communities and wildlife and ensuring sustainable farming practices that protect the environment for future generations.
