SAPPO’s Informal Pork Advisory Group (IPAG) met in April 2021 to discuss ASF. Dr Mary-Louise Penrith of the University of Pretoria was the guest speaker. Her message was that ASF “is impossible to eradicate, but the disease can be controlled.”
