Winter Warmers: A season of success

As the last cold fronts rolled out, SA Pork wrapped up a winter campaign that kept pork front and centre of family tables across South Africa. Building on July’s results (presented in our previous newsletter), the campaign delivered a consistent wave of impressions, reach, and engagement from June through to August — proving that pork truly is the hero of hearty, winter cooking.

By the numbers: Winter 2025

  • Total impressions: 96,1 million
  • Total reach: 41,3 million
  • Clicks: 582 915
  • Engagements: 11,7 million
  • Video views: 30,8 million

Breaking it down:

  • June set the tone with 50,4 million impressions and 6,57 million engagements.
  • July kept momentum strong with 45,7 million impressions and over 12,9 million video views.
  • August, while a smaller campaign, still drove over 10,1 million impressions and 1,7 million engagements — extending the conversation into early spring.

A season that connected

What these numbers reveal is more than reach; they reflect resonance. Families didn’t just see pork — they engaged with it, cooked with it, and celebrated it as part of their seasonal traditions. As we close the book on winter, the foundation is set. With “Think Smart.
