Biogas study tour: Part 2

The South African Pork Producers’ Organisation (SAPPO) recently participated in a study tour to Denmark on biogas, invited by the Royal Danish Embassy in South Africa. SAPPO representatives James Jenkinson, Michael Fysh, and Johann Kotzé accompanied a group of experts to the Gemidan waste treatment plant and the Bigaden biogas plant.

In this video, James Jenkinson (Swineline) shares why he joined the tour, what his experience using renewable energy has been, and what he learned from the trip. You can also learn more about James’ plans to ‘switch on the sun’ in Episode 4 of SAPPO Selekt Season 2, which is coming soon.
